On August 23 the Ukraine Palace hosted the Teletriumph award ceremony. Teletriumph is the oldest National TV Award, presented first time in 2001. The organizers are the National Board on television and radio issues together with the Industrial Television Committee.
This year 96 Ukrainian experts took part in choosing the bests. The counting of voted was made by Ernst&Young.
The Best Reporter is Andrei Tsapliyenko for the series of the reports he made for Podrobnosti news in 2006. This is the fourth time the journalist received the prestigious award. In 2006 he worked on the line of fire in Israel - Lebanon war, reported on referendum in Kosovo.
The Best Documentary was won by Inter's documentary project "War and peace"

Inter showed the eight series of "War and peace" during the week our country celebrated the V-9 day.
The Ukrainians for the first time had a chance to see the unique shots, secret archives, real witnessed and life stories of the people who survived the occupation. In 1941 the people of hundreds cities, towns and villages at once appeared in other country. That country was marked only on the old maps of the former Soviet Union - with a huge white spot - The Occupied Territory.
