I was born in Polyarny - a town in the Murmansk oblast. There I’d spent the first 10 years of my life. Far from civilization (in the contemporary meaning of this word) but on the other hand there were sleds, skis and skates, the Aurelia borealis, the snow-covered hills - everything necessary for a happy childhood. At the age of five I became attracted to the stage. I started grand concert activity, in fact, in the limits of my parent’s apartment. I recorded endless mono-performances: myself as a director, the actor, the invited guest, the accompanist. I got a great opportunity to apply my talents while attending school: amateur activities competitions, the Club of the Merry and Creative, the school news-papers - consult with Tikhonova: you’ll get it fast, qualitative and full of enthusiasm…
I felt the real taste for studies only in the University (Kiev pedagogical University). It’s quite understandable: there were no hateful precision sciences taught on the philological faculty. You will agree that in the end of the 90-s the job of Russian language teacher could be hardly called a perspective job, that is why it was decided to start out to the radio. 6 years was given to the FM-broadcasting and I don’t feel sorry for this, although lately I can’t listen to the radio at all :)
I appeared on the TV by pure accident - I tried to get a job as secretary of one of the directors of the channel. The perspicacious mister (great thanks to him) suggested for me to show my photos to the supervisors. Three months after that I was invited to the trials, and then proposed me to host one of the headings in the morning block. Notice - the service car took me away at 4 a.m., half a year the same way. But at 9 a.m. my working day was already over. My first words in front of the camera were "Hello! This is "Obzor pressy" (The Press Survey) on the "Inter" channel".
Then the "Zhdi menya" (Wait for Me) program occurred. Now it is its seventh year. It’s hard to believe… The project became a part of me, and there is nothing more to say. And the "Strana sovetov" (Country of advice), that kindly sheltered me while I was pregnant! It was funny (Mila, our stylist, received the "funniest" part): I arrive to the next survey after a week and the costume is too tight for me already.
I give thanks to the television for the realization of my creative and personal ambitions, in another case I would have had no other choice than to look for my "audience" somewhere else. So, I guess, by far this is the end of the story. Everything else is ahead, and this is great!
