The Great Ukrainian project has almost came to an end. Today, on May, 16th at 9:30 p.m Inter will broadcast the final show, that will determine the name of the Greatest Ukrainian N1.
The top-three Ukraine's greats for the moment are still being kept in secret. The most votes came during the airing of documentary films about each of top-10 great Ukrainian. Vakhtang Kipiani, the Editor-in-Chief of Great Ukrainians project characterized the three leaders as quite an unexpected result. 'If the voting finishes now, these results would certainly cause a very hot discussion all over the country".
Looking back, on April, 11th Inter announced the long list of 100 Great Ukrainians and the top-10 greats as follows (alphabetically):
Amosov, Mykola
Bandera, Stepan
Chornovil, Vyacheslav
Franko, Ivan
Lobanovsky, Valeriy
Khmelnytskyi, Bohdan
Shevchenko, Taras
Skovoroda, Hryhoriy
Ukrainka, Lesya

At the very beginning of the show the viewers will have a chance to see how their votes are distributed among the top-ten Great Ukrainians. For those, who have not cast their voices it will be another incentive to go forward and vote. It may as well happen that till the end of the program the situation could change drastically, and the outsiders may turn into leaders.
After that each of the heroes will be presented starting the big discussion during which the voting will be still open. The winner will be determined during the last minutes of the vote.
Unlikely to previous shows, the guests of the studio hosted by Hanna Homonay and Savik Shuster, will include only the people that have some relation the person in the top-10 list. Those are the so-called 'advocates' of the greats, relatives, friends, colleges that will come in to support the candidate for The Greatest Ukrainian of all the times
